Success story

LED photopolymerization

Rapid polymerization of resins using simple LEDs, through the development of new photocatalysts.

This completely new technique, developed by IS2M, a member of MICA, consists of producing photopolymerization that no longer uses ultraviolet radiation sources but rather simple LEDs. This lighting that has been recently developed at high speed has everything it takes to perform simple and environmentally friendly polymerization processes: the sources are low cost, they have a very long life span and consume very little energy.
