LED photopolymerisation

LED photopolymerisation V

Rapid resin polymerisation using simple LEDs, via the development of new photocatalysers

This all-new technology developed by IS2M, a MICA member, uses simple LEDs for photopolymerisation rather than UV radiation sources. This type of lighting, developed recently and very quickly, has all the attributes for implementing simple, environmentally-friendly polymerisation processes. Its sources are inexpensive, have an extended lifecycle and consume very little energy.
