Fast 3D scanning: HOLO3 technology to inspect, measure and model all industrial parts

The fast 3D scanning technology presented by Sacha Bernet, director of HOLO3, is based on fringe projection.
This optical system, combining two cameras and a projector, enables precise 3D modeling of objects, regardless of their size.

Fringe projection technology for industrial metrology

The projector casts fringe patterns onto the part, which are captured by the cameras.
The observed deformations enable precise 3D reconstruction in the form of point clouds, which are then compared to a CAD file to detect deviations.
Fast 3D scanning thus becomes a powerful tool for quality control and industrial process automation.

A tailored solution for all industries

Used in defense, automotive and mass production, this technology can be adapted to both very small and very large parts.

Thanks to the custom design of its systems, HOLO3 provides industrial players with a flexible solution for dimensional inspection and advanced metrology.
