Carnot MICA

Who are we?

Carnot MICA is a public research organization specializing in functional materials, surfaces and interfaces, and related processes. It brings together 15 member institutions — including research laboratories, technology centers and technical centers — located across France. “Carnot” is a label of excellence awarded to research organizations committed to innovation for industry. As such, MICA is part of the Carnot Network, recognized for its scientific expertise and its ability to transform research into industrial solutions.Each year, around 900 companies (SMEs, mid-sized firms and large corporations) collaborate with MICA to develop R&D and innovation projects. Our organization is ISO 9001 certified for the management of innovation, R&D and service projects in the field of materials.
